Dear Friends,

Circular Letter No. 01/2004

As there seems to be a lack of information concerning the European Individual Women’s Championship 2004 you will find attached once more the official announcement including the registration forms. This championship will be held in Dresden/Germany from 20 March to 3 April 2004.

It has been agreed with OV Beochess (Robert Spörri) to organize the European Rapid Championship 2005 will be organized at the beginning of next year in the Hilton Hotel in Basel/Switzerland. Details will be announced later on.

The German Chess Federation has fixed their dates for the National Team Championship 2004/05 (Bundesliga) as follows:
round 1 and 2 13/14 November 2004 round 3 and 4 27/28 November 2004
round 5 and 6 11/12 December 2004 round 7 and 9 28-30 January 2005
round 10 and 11 12/13 February 2005 round 12 and 13 12/13 March 2005
round 14 and 15 9/10 April 2005

The next Board Meeting is scheduled in St. Vincent/Italy on 14 and 15 February 2004. Immediately thereafter you will receive the next Circular Letter.
