Dear Friends,

Circular Letter No. 6/2006

President Boris Kutin has convened the ECU General Assembly in Torino/Italy for Thursday, 1 June 2006 at 9.00 a. m. Attached you will find the agenda including the annexes.

For the preparation of this General Assembly we would like to ask all federations to fill in the registration form and to return it to the ECU Secretariat by 10 May 2006. According to 4.4 of the ECU Statutes, every member federation is represented by a permanent delegate (proxy) who belongs to the same federation or is a representative (permanent delegate or proxy) of another federation. All proxies have to be submitted to the Secretary General 24 hours prior to the opening of the General Assembly the latest.

The exact venue of the General Assembly will be announced in Torino. The meeting hall is already reserved in the frame of the FIDE Congress. This General Assembly is scheduled for the whole day as 1 June is a free day in the Chess Olympiad.
